As a member of Wareham I am biased but they have come out of lockdown in a very good state and as the weeks pass I am confident the groundskeepers will ensure it is one of the best courses in Dorset

As a member of Wareham I am biased but they have come out of lockdown in a very good state and as the weeks pass I am confident the groundskeepers will ensure it is one of the best courses in Dorset

Well kept course
Ground staff do really well to maintain the course - only 4 temporary greens despite the perpetual rain.(Round played: Nov 2019 - Score: 95 Handicap: 26)

Lovely views
Very pleasant course. After getting through the first four holes the course gets out and into the forest. A couple of major hills to climb and then play makes this course tough. Spectacular views of Poole estuary are in the distance.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 92 Handicap: 26.3)

All weather course
Well maintained course - ground staff and volunteers are constantly working to improve the course. . Rarely closed as water drains away into the heathland. Friendly members.First 9 fairly flat - second 9 quite hilly!

Really nice course. Played off the forward tee's which maybe took away the courses teeth as some of the back tee's looked quite challenging. Greens very slow but not bad for time of year. Worth a knock if your in the area.Reviewer Rating

Great variety of challenges
Really enjoyed my round. Greens were very good with some interesting breaks. You need to know the line to hit off the tees otherwise you can get punished.(Round played: Dec 2018 - Score: 89 Handicap: 13.7)

Captains day and a good day out
Invited to play on Captains day and had a great day, Wareham is always a joy to play, with the greens in excellent condition and playing from the whites a challenge, Friendly day, great food all round good show.Well done Wareham.

One more week will make all the difference
After all the rain we've had it was good to play Wareham, although the grass was long and the greens slow, once the sun comes out and the grass can be cut the course will be in great condition, always a pleasure.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 23.2)
