Picturesque course, lovely greens & very welcoming

A tight course with many blind tee shots followed by approaches that are often in to relatively small greens & when those greens aren't small they are multi-tiered.The putting surfaces were excellent & very receptive for the time of year.
The stroke index 1, 12th hole is the most memorable of a good selection.
The members that we encountered on the course were very friendly as were the staff in both the clubhouse & the pro shop.
The choice, quality & value for money of the catering was excellent.
Already looking forward to a return visit & the chance to post a score that I'm not embarrassed to share ;-)

course management needed

The course needs plenty of course management otherwise your in trouble .It's quite short but is very well kept .

Well kept course

Ground staff do really well to maintain the course - only 4 temporary greens despite the perpetual rain.

All weather course

Well maintained course - ground staff and volunteers are constantly working to improve the course. . Rarely closed as water drains away into the heathland. Friendly members.

First 9 fairly flat - second 9 quite hilly!

A Great round and the course was in good condition, despite the recent rains it was dry and quiet
