A good testing course
With weather as it has been the course is very dry so if you hit a good tee shot it will get considerable distance. Therefore adapting your club selection is key.Greens quick needless to say but in fantastic condition.
Lots of varied holes.

It?s been better?
Fairways a bit scratchy and greens and run offs bald so showing wear and tear at this time of the year (September). Challenging course with a stark contrast between front and back 9?s. Keep it in play you will score - just off fairways you're hunting! Friendly club, good Hole 19.Reviewer Rating

Super Course
Greens in fine form and very consistent to putt on.Always good to see a course having work carried out to improve going forward.
Fairways a little long in places but to cope with present weather is very difficult.
Some of the bunkers are requiring new sand, bunker to the left of hole two in particular.
Always a friendly welcome.

Good course
Greens have recently been sanded but played true.Fairways had preferred lies and with lots of work taking place the course will move further forwards next year.
Once again, Wareham is a testing course with super views of the Purbeck’s.
Well worth a visit.

Considering drought conditions, good
I really enjoyed my round. Although the course is very dry, and is sandy in places including the tee areas, overall it is in good condition. I thought the greens were especially good. There are a few places to be careful of where fairways cross others.Reviewer Rating

Great Summer afternoon's golf
Came over from Bournemouth to pay and play a 2 ball 26th July Tuesday. Quite easy to park . Signing in was quick and efficient. The course was dry but the greens were in good condition. Signings for next tee were good though we missed the right turn through the gate for the 9th. It was Ladies Day so there was a bit of waiting around but not a bother on such a beautiful course. Some challenging holes , ups and downs and levels and doglegs and hidden greens so good variety. Great views too. Clubhouse was clean and orderly and the bar was friendly. Lovely patio to sit on with parasols. Very enjoyable. Thanks to Wareham Golf Club for a good experience. Will return.Reviewer Rating

Very good and achy,,enge from the off
Played on an overcast day with locals and my second visit (last one three years ago). The course continues to be a challenge with driving accuracy rewarded and greens superbly maintained. A couple of wonderful uphill holes and sweeping downhills so course knowledge really helps. Welcoming vibe at the Clubhouse and fine bitter on draught - great!(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 98 Handicap: 22.2)

Picturesque course, lovely greens & very welcoming
A tight course with many blind tee shots followed by approaches that are often in to relatively small greens & when those greens aren't small they are multi-tiered.The putting surfaces were excellent & very receptive for the time of year. The stroke index 1, 12th hole is the most memorable of a good selection.
The members that we encountered on the course were very friendly as were the staff in both the clubhouse & the pro shop.
The choice, quality & value for money of the catering was excellent.
Already looking forward to a return visit & the chance to post a score that I'm not embarrassed to share ;-)
