A step-up from Beauchief

Longer and more challenging than Beauchief but a rewarding course with great views of the Chesterfield countryside. Really well designed course.

forgotten gem, well worth the visit.

We haven't played here for ages as its a hard course at the best of times, a little breezy today but course is in very good nick. will be back again to try and get the better of the last 2 holes, always a pain!

Return visit for sure!

I've not played this course for many years, yesterday's round was a revelation. A good number of short par 4's lull you into a false sense of security, they are subtly tricky. Overall a good challenge, on a course that is in very good condition. The greens are small with quite subtle borrows, true rolling surface but really slow even though we were following a green keeper who was mowing them. Enjoyed our game so much that we've booked to play again next week when I hope to play with a bit more freedom now that I've figured out the lines off the tee.

Lovely lush course need your hiking boots thougg

Went to Tap ton for the first time in 12 years and found it to be fantastically maintained and lush and green course. The course is very very hilly and you know about it after 18 holes but we'll worth the visit

Played for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised, the course was fantastic, each hole is different and challenging. The only negative for me was the greens desperately needed a cut and were running really slow. The driving range was also really nice. Will be back soon.
