Society day
The professional was very polite the course was in very good condition the greens where a bit long but with the rain it understandably it’s a very good test of golf n well worth having a round u won’t be disappointed(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 84 Handicap: 10.4)

Friday golf
Absolutely beautiful course it was only ?15 n well worth it I played Doncaster ( bessacarr ) the week before n payed ?55 go to tapton it was just as good fairways where great tee boxes where good the greens could be a bit faster but what a great courseReviewer Rating

Golf course in excellent condition with great views of Chesterfield from some Tees. The course though is quite underlating so if you have problems walking like me then a buggy is essential. Less than 6,000 yds long this course is great for the high handicappers.

Great to be Back
Have not played my home club in 26 years since joining the Forces. I went back to have a game with my Dad and Son and did not quite know what to expect. I play off 10 and been privileged to play on some of the best courses in my time in the Army. To say I was pleasantly surprised was an understatement. The clubhouse set up has changed a lot but still very friendly with great service throughout.The course was immaculate, lush fairways, a good 1st cut of rough and the greens were very receptive to approach shots, but still cut very well and ran true and faster than I originally anticipated. To play the long 5th and the 'Horseshoe' 15th again was something I had waited a long time for and was not disappointed. I will definitely look at joining when I settle back in the area.

A well maintained course which tests all aspects of a golfers skills and fitness levels. Be warned this is a

Lovely course, lovely day out and one of best rounds ever as a 28 handicapper! Club captain sorted 20 of us out as part of a deal including 2 meals and 18 holes and prizes for the winner which I won! Fantastic staff! Definitely shall be coming again!

a great test of golf if you can play here you can play anywhere greens in good nick but they are still off mats if thats what you can call them they need going into the skip come on tapton spend some money on some new mats and have a bit of pride in a great course
