Despite poor play. Golf was pleasant. Course playable for first time round. Would like to go back to try again.

Rough was too rough!
I enjoy the course and have played it several times before. This time though the rough was just too long. Several times we just missed the greens or faiway and we were straight into long rough and had to spend time looking for our balls. This constant searching led to a long and less enjoyable round. The first cut of rough needs to be reduced.Reviewer Rating

Course played well after lots of rain.... greens in good condition ....a few trees have been have removed which has detracted from the difficulty

Open parkland. You need local knowledge! Balls lost easily amongst the leaves - played in early November

Round played: Oct 2016 - Score: 88 Handicap: 15. Course was ok yet slow morning roll up in front of our society. Better planning should have happened. The club pro was very miserable and didn't seem to welcome our custom, dissapointed!

Course in reasonable condition and was generally firm under foot.
I played poorly and made too many erors today.
However it was still good to get out and work on some things.

still very wet underfoot in places and just started hollow tinning greens. Bearing in mind weather course was in fair condition
