Nice course but....
The course is lovely, a really good challenge. It was dry in places and the greens were a bit bumpy due to the hollow tines not being completely fixed. and they needed a cut. The killer was time. Five hours as a three ball!!! Two hours 50 minutes for the first nine. There was a guy in a Marshall buggy but we saw him for the first time on the 17th. It will be a very long time until I returnReviewer Rating

Really not sure!
Played Hoebridge a few times now over the years in a society, usually later in the year when it can become a bit ‘bare’ on the fairways. This time of the year, plenty of grass. Course seems to have wintered well and given the amount of rounds played on it is in reasonable condition. Greens are IMHO not the best and show some patches where pitch marks have not been repaired. Having said that I putted really well!\Plenty of good sand in the bunkers and they were in good nick.\Good variety of holes with a couple of blind tee shots. I think the par 3’s are challenging. Fairways are generous. Tee boxes are showing wear this early in the season.\Well stocked pro shop. Excellent bacon and sausage bap to start the day. Pleasant staff in the bar.\Funny the things you notice. Greenkeepers stopped mowing the fairways when you were taking your shot. I have noticed more recently they don’t do that on many courses.\Reasonably priced and I am being a bit picky. Would play again.\Reviewer Rating

Great course
Given the weather and that other courses were closed and waterlogged, course drained very well. Greens understandably a bit wet but in great nick overall. Always fun to play.Reviewer Rating

Decent layout but so slow
Played in October, tee boxes decent, greens very bobbly, and fairways need to significantly recover from the summer dry weather. Main issue was the pace of play. We had 4 groups of 2 balls in front of us (Ladies comp), and our 3 ball were constantly held up. 4hr 45mins round of golf.Reviewer Rating
