First time back at Hoebridge since April 2019 - definitely one of my favourite courses. I find it a proper test of golf - fairly long at 6300 yards, with testing par 5's, dog-legs and uphill/downhill holes. It is always in good condition and very often the wind will be a factor. The past Saturday was brutal - the back 9 is usually into the wind and some holes were playing at least 2-3-clubs more! Still managed to shoot a good round, but made a mess of the 4 par 5's - frustratingly in good position off the tee for all but proceeded to botch it up otherwise may have been one of my lowest rounds on this course
. Good pace of play despite us being a 2-ball with two 4-balls ahead of us...and the tough conditions

Hoebridge has always been a very good value for money pay and play course. Pace was slow as we followed a society but other than that, no compliants.
