Very good course
In very good condition given the recent rain, particulalry the greens. A good challenge with some very difficult holes but some giving you a chance.(Round played: Feb 2022 - Score: 91 Handicap: 16.5)

Decent condition for time of year but far too slow
Booked to tee at 10ish on a Thursday. Tees running 10 mins behind. Pace really slow - had to wait on every hole - mentioned it to the course marshal after 9. 2:30 for the front 9, 2:20 for the back 9 playing as a 3 baller.Course condition was pretty good for the time of year and the amount of rain recently. Greens decent in terms of quality and condition. Course was quite interesting with a variety of elevations, distances and dog legs.
Other facilities very good, nice club house (although restricted menu), walkways, practice areas etc all in very good condition.
Paid £25 as a member's guest - very fair value.
I would visit against but please do encourage / enforce that faster groups are called through.

Good Course but Very Busy!
The course was in good condition and as always, really tests your game in all aspects. Lots of variety between holes which requires some thinking. Tees and fairways were very good for a public course. The only downside were "tramlines" on greens following what must have been recent maintenance which made putts bumpy and often deflected the ball off-line. Once these even out, the greens will be very good. So overall the golf course is great and a pleasant challenge to play.However, my main criticism was pace of play. We ended up teeing off 30 minutes after our booked time due to too many players on the course and poor tee time policing. A 16-strong society who apparently had teed off an hour earlier were dawdling in front of us and really had no clue in terms of pace of play or etiquette. Despite us calling out a marshal to hurry them up, this didn't change anything. A group between us and the society decided to walk off after 4 holes and we were stuck behind them for an agonisingly slow round of 5+ hours. This was a group of clueless hackers with no intention to allow us to play through, or to even attempt to speed up by playing 'ready golf'. This should not be allowed on a Sunday afternoon or at least the marshall should have done a much better job of hurrying them up or telling them to allow us to play through.

Reasonable quality pay and play venue
HoeBridge is an all things to all folk kinda place, and you can get a quite decent game of golf here. The layout is decently long, with mostly sensible rough etc, but is let down by some below par greens, particularly 11 and 14.Reviewer Rating

We have played our annual Society Xmas Texas Scramble Golf Day at Hoebridge for the past ten years.
For efficiency, friendliness, & value for money it is excellent.
The golf course itself is in good condition in all weathers & times of year.
Obviously in December work on the greens has to take place & we accept that happily, they were still very puttable none the less.

We have played at Hoebridge for three years now on same Saturday (last Saturday in November). the day is highly valued by the society, with a range of skill mixes!)
we have always been well looked after and this year was no exception- despite a wedding reception taking place as we returned from our game.
We were unperturbed by the number of wedding guests loitering in reception area, however, Admin felt the need to apologise to us. Great proactive customer service.
Given the amount of rain, the course played well and has something for high and low handicappers to appreciate (as well as stunning views of Surrey from some tees).
Already booked to return next year

Fantastic venue for a society day. Both courses were in superb condition. The off course services were great and everybody had a great day. We will definitely have more society days at Hoebridge

This is the 4th year Hoebridge have hosted Curley Park Rangers football club Golf Day. They never disappoint. Great value for money and everyone had a great time. Will be getting next years date in the diary very soon.

We held a society day here in June. Overall it was a decent day, the course isn't the trickiest, so it is a good choice if you have quite a few average golfers in your society as we do! Overall the fairways and greens were in decent condition. A couple of quite straight forward par 5s including the 1st hole can help you shoot a good score.
Off the course the facilities are good. The golf centre is geared up to family golf, with crazy golf / par 3 golf etc which will get the youngsters interested in the sport.
We got a good deal as a society as we were able to use a 30% bounce back discount that BCL offer.

Played the par 3 course and can highly recommend. The course is very well kept. Cut nice and greens were very good. Did a Groupon deal and would say it was exceptional value. Can't wait to play here again soon.

This course is a long and hilly course so for those that like to include a bit of a work out during their round should come and play Hoebridge. It was in really great condition though, wide well cut fairways and lovely greens. Not much in the form of hazards so your not going to lose a lot of balls but also if you do stray wide of the fairway it's a challenge to recover the hole. Exactly how a golf course could play and friendly staff as well.

Decent layout but so slow
Played in October, tee boxes decent, greens very bobbly, and fairways need to significantly recover from the summer dry weather. Main issue was the pace of play. We had 4 groups of 2 balls in front of us (Ladies comp), and our 3 ball were constantly held up. 4hr 45mins round of golf.Reviewer Rating

Great course but busy
I guess being a nice course inevitably means it will get busy and today was no exception. Even though we were behind mainly two balls, it still took our 3 ball about 5 hours. However, even with that it was still enjoyable and didn't affect our game. To be fair, I have not had a 5 hour round there for a while and so there may have been extenuating circumstances.Greens were the best I'd seen for several weeks and the fairways were ok given the dry weather.
