Nice challenging course.
Greens are very fast and not that receptive on long approach shots.
Course is in very good condition and good sand in the bunkers.
Nice friendly clubhouse.

Good variety of holes although there is little cover between fairways due to the relative young age of the course.

Pretty nice course with some well designed holes. The greens were bumpy for mid summer though and also pretty slow but the fairways were lovely.

A nice course with a good mix of hole styles. Good food in the bar and friendly and helpful staff. Well worth a visit.

A nice layout but slightly falling on hard times
I have played Sutton Green many times over the years. It's a classic layout with a lot of character over fairly flat land, designed by Dame Lara Davies. No two holes are the same and it is fun but challenging to play.There have been plans to buy up the land for development thankfully twarted by the local council but it is not quite in the condition it has been in the past. Possibly because it was only two weeks after greens maintenance but the greens were very slow but looked to have recovered well. Fairways were a bit patchy in places but at £30 for an afternoon round it still present good value. Even so, there could not have been more than 3 or 4 groups on the whole course.
