This is my membership course and where as I am still learning from three years play of 2 rounds per month I do really enjoy both the courses Stoke by Nayland has to offer. Considering this is a hotel course, they look after both courses brilliantly and the greens are in great order. Friendly staff everywhere with beautiful scenery either from the courses or from the clubhouse.

Challenging course in beautiful setting of Dedham Vale and Stour Valley. Course is hilly with some long walks between tees; buggies may be advisable for those who would prefer them. Golf resort was welcoming and staff in the pro shop and hotel were always helpful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable and food options in the restaurant and sport bar were good also. Complex accommodates smaller and large golf groups with two courses available in a lovely country setting.

Great venue and courses, greens well paced good sports bar and very friendly service staff with good food as well. A great place to go for a short golf break.

Played both the Constable and Gainsborough over 2 days. Both in reasonable nick though greens have recently been tined and sanded so were a little random in places, but that work has to be done around this time of year. Little wet in places given the recent rain but otherwise well looked after. Hotel room, food and bar were all decent. Always enjoy coming here.
