Great place !!
Great place to stay and two great courses.Constable course long and undulating and Gainsborough the same
but not as hard. Greens good but a bit on the slow side.
Hotel good and superb food. Bar staff in sports bar a bit cheeky and rude.

Good course
Good round in the sun. Course in great condition (although bunkers were a bit solid). Hilly - recommend a buggy.Reviewer Rating

Constable and Gainsborough Courses
Both courses overall in lovely condition. I found the first couple of fairways on the Gainsborough course would benefit from some additional drainage as found a bit 'muddy?. There were a couple of tees that had very limited grass! Overall, some fantastic holes, wonderful greens and great hospitality in the club house. Would definitely like to play both courses again.Reviewer Rating

Constable Stoke by Nayland
Played this course as part of a overnight package at the end of winter, the greens had been holotined and sanded but that was expected, the course has a fantastic layout and is not easy, it can be hard to judge where to land the ball on the green as a lot of greens are above the fairway. The staff are outstanding, very friendly and I could not fault the food. I would like to go there in the summer. We played this course second.Reviewer Rating

Stoke By Nayland Sunday /Monday November
We went for an overnight stay from Sunday to Monday. The facilities are excellent and the courses are interesting with some challenging holes. Having said that I'm not sure this a course to play in the winter. The constable was very wet underfoot and muddy in lots of places. Rain and wind stopped us from playing the Gainsborough on the Monday. However the manager gave us a voucher to return for another game which was very fair. I am looking forward to playing the courses again this summer.Reviewer Rating
