Really Nice Course

A comprehensive set up with a spa hotel, 2 courses and a restaurant.
Played the Constable which was very good, well looked after and provided a real challenge!

Both courses in good condition. The Constable appeared to be more manicured than the Gainsborough. Greens were good on both. Very firm everywhere due to recent dry weather so hard to get a ball to hold a green. Hotel was excellent, as was food. Staff did well despite probably being a little short on no's. Excellent dinner. Look forward to heading back in the future.

well worth the visit

despite the very wet weather it was in pretty good condition, greens could do with some TLC but the weather has almost certainly been the reason for them not being redressed having been some weeks ago

Definitely worth playing

Played the courses several times, enjoyed them so much decided to join. 2 exceptional courses , both in great condition, both challenging as well. Par 71 and 72. Lots of ups and downs, scenic, water hazards all over the place. Challenging in a word.

Stoke by Nayland

Went there for an overnight stay bed and breakfast evening meal and two rounds of golf which was good value for money. Both courses are very challenging which some great holes. The facility?s are great and the staff are very good. The greens in places could do with some attention and the courses need to be tidied up, specially the constable. Saying this it is a good facility and worth a visit.

Two great courses, would recommend a buggy

Quite hilly but and challenging courses. The greens were in great condition. The courses were very busy but there was no official starter to keep tee off in order.

Constable Course

Very tough course due to the hills, not for those poor on there feet unless you use a buggy. Greens were quite fast and difficult for most of our group to read. Would play again but definitely with a buggy next time.
