Great course in excellent condition, once the sun arrives it will be a delight to play. 2 courses in one front 9 very tight tree lined fairways and then the back 9 wide open but also open to the elements! Nice little clubhouse with good menu for food. For £8 you cannot complain,

Played this course yesterday after not having played it for years, and to be perfectly honest, the course should never have been open! Alternatively, they should have had pick, clean and place in effect.
The recent rainfall has made the front 9 in particular almost unplayable. Every shot ended up as wither a mud ball or in some sort of soggy lie; not casual water which relief could be obtained from though
Apart from the condition though, the layout is as I remember - front 9 is as tight as you'll see, although it's not too long to compensate for this. The back 9 is much more wide open and forgiving.
The clubhouse is nice and friendly, and was certainly value for money, although I'd rather pay more for a course in better condition personally.

Great course. Greens superb condition and fast!!! A tough walk through a beautifully set course with lovely views of Northumberland.

Excellence through and through. Great social atmosphere as the clubhouse and outdoor seating is very close to the first tee. Brilliant test of accuracy and touch on the front 9 and greens are true. Unbelievable value for money at £8 for a twilight round! I look forward to coming back.

overall the course looked good even with all the rain that fell.
some very difficult holes, but i imagine the course will be great in the dry.
