My second visit to Stocksfield and again the course was in excellent condition.The front 9 was as tight as ever with the back opening up

Excellence through and through. Great social atmosphere as the clubhouse and outdoor seating is very close to the first tee. Brilliant test of accuracy and touch on the front 9 and greens are true. Unbelievable value for money at £8 for a twilight round! I look forward to coming back.

overall the course looked good even with all the rain that fell.
some very difficult holes, but i imagine the course will be great in the dry.

Played stocksfield today on a glorious bank holiday! A real course of two halves, the front is short and tight, and when I return I'll be leaving the driver in the bag untill the back! Not much rough about but when the trees are in full bloom it won't need it! Tees and fairways are in perfect nick and the greens are firm with a great roll! Lovely atmosphere on the decking watching others begin and close their rounds! A bargain at £20!

Great day out course in great condition green staff very polite as we played early in the morning so we let them get on with their duties and had a great 18 holes then a bacon sandwich in the clubhouse

Really well kept, the first nine are a real challenge through the the trees, the back nine is more open but still makes you think. Lovely friendly staff and a 1st class club house with a fine pint and some awesome food. Would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely course
We visited this course with our society. We found it in decent condition considering all the wet weather we've had. As part of our visit we had a bacon sandwich & tea/coffee on arival and after our game we had a Sunday roast with pork, and I have to say the food was exceptional!! By far the best food we've ever had during our years of society golf. We'll definitely be back.Reviewer Rating
