Long round - course needs work
Was enjoying the COVID-19 1 or 2 ball only rounds as it was taking about 3 hours, but this all changed with 4 balls back . Quite chaotic at the start as a very slow 4-ball jumped the queue and teed off before 2 groups ahead of me. The group ahead came back to the clubhouse to complain but it was just a shrug of the shoulders and we just had to crack on. I wasn't too fussed as I'm enjoying playing again and not letting anything put me off. The course is an OK layout - a bit too many short par 4's in my opinion. Note: they've changed the first hole to a 275-yard dogleg par 3 (!) - I assume it is temporary? Greens were in excellent condition but tees and fairways quite poor. Much more so than a few of the courses I've played post Covid-19. Some tee boxes had no markings for yellow tees. Some bunkers had weeds growing in it and very little sand. It was my first time playing here and the first 9 it was a nightmare to find the next hole as there were non-existent/poor signage. It is criss-crossed by public footpaths so I got lost a couple of times trying to find the next hole.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 88 Handicap: 14.7)

Excellent Value
Played on a Sunday morning. Didn't seem busy but it was a little slow. Condition of the course even with the wet weather was good. Greens were in decent nick and was impressed with the course generally. £18 is great value for a good testing course that is varied. Not the longest but is tight in places.Reviewer Rating

Good value course
This is a good value, reasonably challenging course. The greens are pretty poor, but oddly they're quite consistent, so once you get a read of them you may find them ok. 1st hole is a joke - needs some serious work from the golf club to bring it up to standard. Aside from that, the course is pretty enjoyable. It isn't too long, so when you're playing accurately, a good score to be had here. On a bad day, you'll lose a lot of balls as the rough is thick and lots of trees. Some big distances between holes, so a buggy is recommended.Reviewer Rating

Stockley park golf
Not told that work would be undertaken on the front 9. Started on the 10th hole completing all 18 holes. I liked the course.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 90 Handicap: 24)
