What the club says: Thorney Park Golf Club is a challenging 18-hole parkland course with water features on numerous holes. It commands the respect of both beginner and expert golfers with a variety of different challenges as you approach every hole. The excellent greens all year round and a full irrigation system including fairway watering are what makes us stand out from the rest.

Reasonable course
Not particularly long but a fair test. Some variation in holes, undulating terrain and nice enough to look at except for the unfinished work on a few holes on the back 9. Condition of course, fairways, tee boxes were ok but greens were a little patchy in places but very playable. Only one net in the car park and a small practice green. Clubhouse is nice with a good sized terrace.Reviewer Rating

Great Course with Major Works
Very nice course layout with the greens being some of the best I've played in the area. However on the back 9 there is a lot of work happening which does spoil the view of it. Holes 13, 14, 15 and 16 are all effected.Reviewer Rating

Great Course

Great Course
Played 18 holes on the 22nd of May. The greens were best I have played this season. Really enjoyed my round , staff were very pleasant and helpful . The course is not the most challenging, but perfect for a friendly round . Motorway noise can be a little distracting on the first 3 holes and there is a little bit of construction work happening on the back nine, but this did not distract from the overall enjoymentReviewer Rating

Very easy course yet has a couple of challenging holes. Notably the 2nd, 6th, 9th, 14th. Course is protected by Greensted bunkers ok practically all holes with the pace of the greens being on the quicker side. Staff and Clubhouse is extremely friendly and if your lucky enough to have a bit of sun the patio area is a great place to have a beer afterwards.

Good course
A nice parkland course. Tight & tree-lined in places with the odd pond dotted around.The greens were superb, very fast & undulating.
It's a nice start, but really comes to life from the 7th with a lovely par 3.
If I have one complaint its that the bunkers lack a little bit of sand.
Plus for £20, it's a bargain.

Thorney park
Played this course a few times over the years with hit and miss thoughts after the round but I played it yesterday the night after a extremely heavy down pour of rain and honestly can't fault the course it played fantastic no water logged areas the layout is great and the greens are the best I've putted on in a long time so fast and true very very impressed and hats of to the staff being so welcoming on such a miserable day will be returning again soon big thumbs upReviewer Rating

What a gem of a golf courseIt's in great condition,the greens were absolutely fantastic,quick and true
The rescans fairways were also in excellent condition
All this for ?15 after 3:30pm
I will definitely be going back

Great little course and good value for twilight rounds. Not preticularly challenging for lower handicapers, but still needs a little course management to score well. Has always been in good condition for the 6 or so rounds I've played there previously.Reviewer Rating

Very Nice Course
Very nice course with really great greens in peak condition. The actual course itself isn't very challenging however there are 3 or 4 challenging holes. Great course
Beautiful course - tee boxes, greens and fairways were in amazing condition, the best I’ve played in months.I’m giving it a 8/10 mainly because of the lack of warm up facilities (there’s just one net in the car park).
It’s a course that really rewards good play, but it quite forgiving if you not at it. I play off 15 and shot 83 on my first time, very keen to go back as I feel I can better that and maybe even break 80

Rapid greens
We all gathered for our triannual family trophy here at Thorney Park. Weather was good but a tad cold and blowy but sunny neverthe less. 20 players (10 bandits) A good narrow course, unfussy in its layout and set amongst the throng of the M25, Heathrow and a very busy Railway. £39 plus Bacon roll post 12.00 on a Saturday I thought was a little steep but hey the service and food was very good. Course played well on the fairway but the greens were super quick despite the rain we have recently had. Nice to catch up with family but tournament was won by first timers in the memorial trophy which...is suspect.Reviewer Rating
