What the club says: Richings Park Golf Club is built in the Park of a grand seventeenth Century Country House. The course benefits from the many surviving old trees, which were carefully planted to create a fine setting for the original house which was burnt down just after the war. The Withy Brook flows through the grounds and this along with a number of lakes provides added interest. There is an Ice House on the 17th tee which is left over from when the house was occupied. The par 70 course has been laid out to make use of these very attractive features.

Nice parkland course

Course is located near Heathrow and planes can bee seen taking off but does not disrupt play. Fairways and rough on first 6 holes struggling to recover from last year's hot summer but rest of the course in good condition. Greens very good.

Surprisingly fast greens. Plenty of room of most holes. Fair challenges throughout. Challenging final approach.

Not a great course - Back 9 better than front 9

1st I have ever had to leave my ID with the pro shop to hire a buggy - they took my credit card and kept it until I returned the buggy key!!!! - par 4 holes less than 300 yards - very easy course to play. Back 9 a bit better - this course was recommended by a high handicapper and I can understand why as not very challenging for the average golfer

Varied and in great condition

This is a proper test of golf with lots of opportunities to lose golf balls, so come prepared if you are a high handicapper! The course is well catered for with a good range to warm up on.
Each hole is noticeably different to the last and it gets more interesting as you proceed.

nice little course

A picturesque course once you get past hole 5. A few holes require you to think and the back 9 requires straight driving to stay dry: several of the holes involve water, which I'm a big fan of. Greens were in good condition, average speed but not much contouring to them though, so lots of birdie opportunities. Ground was a little tired in places - but overall conditions were decent. Decent practice facilities to dust of the cobwebs and nice clubhouse. I've played a lot of the West London courses, and this would be one of my favourites.

Richings Park, a little golfing oasis in West London

I first played Richings Park about 17 years ago and had to say, back then I wasn't that impressed with it, but wow, what a turnaround. The course, clubhouse, facilities, pro=shop, hospitality are all first class and I would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. The course has some excellent holes, with the first 4-5 having a distinct links feel before entering the parkland remainder of the course. A great risk and reward opening hole, par 4 tempts you to go for it, but the course then bites back at you. Holes 7,8 and 9 can quite easily wreck your scorecard, but equally score well and your on for a solid score. The same can be said when you reach the middle of the back 9, with 14,15,16 again potential card wreckers. My favourite holes on the course are 3rd,5th,9th,11th and 15th. All great holes on their own. The 18th is a stiff test finishing hole with the 2nd shot over a wide water hazard to a relatively small green tucked into a wooded area. If you've not played here before, add it to your list of courses to play. You won't be disappointed.

Great club

The greens are in great shape, fairways a little bare still after the hot summer but I'm sure they will come back, clubhouse and staff are really fabulous, nothing is too much bother.

In Bad condition

I've played Richings a number of times and currently its in the worst condition I'v e ever seen. Greens have little stones on them and fairways are very very patchy. Its a real shame.

I played this course after the recent dry weather and although the fairways were very dry, the greens were in very good condition without any patches. The first 6 holes are relatively new although the last 12 are well established and a lot of water is around to catch any errant shots.
