An OK experience
I was a bit disappointed if I'm honest. It started with a very long hike to the par 3 first tee . The tee box was appalling, a couple of poor mats, no marker and the green wasn't great. After another substantial hike to the 2nd tee, there was no flag on the second green. The worst thing though, was the exceptionally poor quality of the bunker. A few mm of sand, it was like playing off of a concrete road. The greens were quite varied and in OKish condition. That said, It is quite a good challenge, but there are much better courses in the vicinity at the same price.

Decent Course....
So it's not tour standard anymore....but neither am I. You can tell this course cost a lot to build...drainage is excellent and considering the abuse the greens get (no one repairs pitchmarks) they roll true. Little bit of TLC and this course could be back up there...yes the 1st isn't finished...and original layout has changed for a driving range...but it doesn't rest on its once tour status...it's a good track and a Trent Senior course are hard to come by in the UK.Reviewer Rating

Not in the best condition...
The first hole is an absolute shocker! Terrible tee box, badly maintained with loads of stones, rocks if you go over the green. The rest of the course is margainly better. It strikes of a course that was once good. However, it looks like there?s been no money spent on it for a long long time.
The course was surprisingly busy for some reason. There are numerous courses locally that are far better.
