Wonderful course, long and hilly, interesting holes. And at £15 for a twilight round this is excellent value,

Amazing course, amazing staff. Lets start with the course.. we're just out of winter, and the fairways are firm, with fast greens. Despite having flooding the week before, the carts were out (35GBP per day) which says a lot for the drainage and care given by the grounds team. Every single one of the 18 holes was impeccable. Loved the water challenge of the par 3 12th, and the quirky 9th/18th cross! Best hole bar far, the 11th. Extremely challenging, but satisfying when you get there in 3!
The hotel staff couldn't have been more accommodating (shout out to the bar manager!), and the rooms are above Premier Inn quality (although similar setup).

wonderful wonderful condition, greens were very fast and true. Good speed of play and all helped by good manners and common sense. Will go back here anytime.

Friendly staff, great facilities. Some great deals available. Played in November in cold and rain but the course was still beautiful. The boggy areas were being looked after with clear GIR. Greens neat and true even though they had been spiked. Will definitely visit again
