Highly Recommended 2018
What the club says: An interesting and varied layout constructed over the gently rolling valleys of Northamptonshire - all three nines having some superb holes. There is also a total of 17 lakes which are strategically placed to encourage golfers to think their way round the course. The putting surfaces benefit from a state-of-the-art irrigation system that gives great year-round consistency - essential for reading the challenging greens. The 'Red' course is the longest at 3,332 yards, with the 'Blue' measuring 3,277 and the 'Green' coming in at 2,791.

Mr Cool on the ICE
Cold and frosty but no temporary greens. Nice kept course and range facilities. Nine holes so perfect for after work or to keep you on top form. Nice club house very friendly also American Golf store onsite.

Well worth it
Great for a golf weekend away with the lads. The food and hospitality was excellent of all the places we have stayed and played this was by far the best with respect to the food. The course was in great condition for October, the greens were extremely tricky but in very good condition. Pity about the driving range being closed due to covid but that is no ones fault(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 91 Handicap: 17.4)

Excellent course
The course was in great condition, though due to recent weather a lot of the bunkers were full of water and the sand was hard.

Nice course but signage is awful
Nice course but signs from green to tee are not good or non existent and some Coloured tee markers in wrong place. Wouldn't rush back to play until this gets sorted, expensive because this

Give it a try
Although expensive a reasonable park land course. Not to difficult and suitable for most golfers. Greens generally good although a little slow for this time of year.

Hard walk!
Honestly get a buggy!! It?s hills from the get go! Greens don?t take spin so it?s bump and run approach type golf. Some accurate golf required at times and off the tee can be a challenge. Sensible play is the call on most holes unless your hitting very straight or giving yourself free hits when no one is looking.

A physically tough challenge
Some interesting holes, short par 4's and strategically placed water hazards. Interesting test of golf but in places had felt like the course had been forced in small corners and steep hillsides. A very tough walk, especially on a hot day, buggy highly reccomended.Condition was average for early summer, greens very hard so balls would run through and into the rough at the back no matter how short the ball pitched. Pleasant staff and good value.

Poor condition
Played this around 7 years ago and can remember it was a nice risk and reward course. Unfortunately the condition has really gone down hill since the last time i played. Looks like the white tee boxes have gone, tee boxes scruffy and greens bare in patches. Shame as with a little TLC this could be pretty good again

Scorchio
Well laid out course. Would definitely recommend to anyone to get a buggy. It?s very hilly. The greens were quite grassy, but not that slow. Some good thinking holes, and the rough is ROUGH. An enjoyable course, better than a locally similar hotel/golfing complex.

Nice course, slow greens.
Nice testing course in peaceful picturesque location. Really like the layout and my only negative, having played it twice recently is that the greens are much slower than you'd expect. Takes some getting used to.

Quality plus mix and match
Three very good 9 hole courses which you can choose any two on the day. The Valley is probably the easiest but all three are challenging with plenty of water to navigate. The last hole on the Lakes course is a Challenging Par 3 over water which is viewed from the Hotel bar.

Nice course
A really nice course, up & down a bit with plenty of trees & water. It's in pretty good condition, the greens are a bit bobbly & slow, but it looks like they'll be great come the summer. It's not the longest course in the world, but that means you have to decide between going for it & laying up.
To top it off the hotel is excellent as well
