Very good condition
Fairways dry and the ball was running, considering g the rain and snow we've had recently was a welcome surprise. They greens had been treated so didn't run as true or fast as normal but on the whole it was a very enjoyable round. Would definitely recommend playing hereReviewer Rating

quiet day in great weather, course was not up top its normal standard as played on other days, greens quite nice but a lot of bunkers were GUR and the fairways needed cutting those little white flowers everywhere so spent a lot of time looking for balls on the fairways, slow play, but we will be back to play again......

Really enjoyed my first round on Southport. Lovely course, great greens just don't get off line.

Nice course and some well laid out bunkers lakes and ditches to negotiate. The green are in great condition too.

Superb links muni. Can get busy at times with slow play but clears for the back 9 usually. Always kept in good condition. Good value also.

Played yesterday (11/7/15). Managed to get a full round in before the heavens opened. Lovely course, greens very good. Bunkers, although typical links-style need a little love and care. Tricky playing into the wind. Well worth a visit, and good value for £17. Went round in 86, starting from cold on 3rd hole. Two 6s to open on consecutive par 5s isn't bad for a 22 handicapper. Will play this course again.
