Course is interesting to play as it has an easy front and hardish back nine dont be fooled by easy front nine!

Improvements made since I played here last year. Nice new grass putting green and relocated nets. Course is in great condition for the year with the leaves removed and the bunkers well cared for. Greens were good.

Great Condition
3rd time on here in 3 years. Always in great condition. For the time of year, the greens were excellent & the sand in the bunkers would put a lot of supposedly better courses to shame.Yes, it's a little tight on the back 9, but its not as bad as some on here are saying.
If you're driving well. it's an easy course to score on, if not.........!
Hotel very nice, food was a bit slow coming, but was very good.

3rd time on here in 3 years. A nice little course & always in good condition.
Greens were great for Feb & the bunkers would put a lot of other courses to shame.
Yes, it's a bit tight on the back 9, but not as bad as some people make out.
If you're driver is on song, it's an easy course to score well on

Amazing Golf Club and staff
The golf club and the staff were truly amazing in our stay here overnight, we played both days with a room overnight and I must say the hotel staff were by no means helpful with Buffet breakfast and our night meal which we waited one hour and a half for our starters!! The golf club was almost the complete opposite welcomes with smiles and politeness, a true credit to the company but will not be staying in the hotel any time soon!!Reviewer Rating

Another fun round at Shendish. This a good course with some difficult holes and some very scoreable holes. Hole 18 remains a brute to finish with. It did for me once more. Good value and well kept.

Nice course, pretty in places. Don't have to be long. A few holes either cross or get very close to each other so can be a nervy.
Greens were fairly small but quite bumpy and very slow.
Bunkers had way too much sand in and not spread out evenly.
Interesting course, worth playing again

Course in good condition and greens playing well if not a little slow. Will return as excellent value.

Course was ok to play, greens were a bit bumpy as had not yet been sanded, no winter tiers needed and course fairways were still in good condition, some dog mess on the course around the back 9 in places so thats quite disappointing, but i guess thats not really the clubs fault, more the dog owners.
club house was quite uneventful , i ordered a sausage sandwedge and a cup of coffee for around the 4 pound mark, but it was one whole sausage not cut in half as id expected (and usually received in other club houses else where) and a really cheap and nasty bap, coffee was average too, for the price i was a little disappointed. The lady behind the desk/till seemed a little un welcoming/ un friendly if I'm being honest, doesn't cost anything to be welcoming, and they weren't busy at all, but all in all i had a good round of golf that day.
