Good little course with some testing holes. Friendly atmosphere all round the course and clubhouse and great value for money

A nice course. Quite short, but tight in places which makes you think a little more. Rough very long, so anything wayward is punished.
Greens true, but dreadfully slow. They just needed mowing
Unfortunately it just feels a bit like they've tried to cram 18 holes in to the smallest space possible. I would play it again, but wouldn't rush back.
Hotel great with the best Blueberry Panna Cotta that I've ever eaten!

Played twice recently and first six holes pretty dull but course does get better once you get back on to the orginal nine. Nice greens with some suttle burrows. Probable more suited for higher handicapper. Scored 89 18 handicap. June 2015

My home course - very forgiving! I think anyone other than a high handicapper will find the course too easy.

A challenging course which I found to be a little tedious at first, namely the 4th hole from whcih you are driving from a sunken position so as soon as your ball travels over the crest of the hill you're pretty much clueless as to where or how far it has gone! I do feel as though the fairway could be maintained a little better and the rough really was rough, good luck if you get stuck in there. The greens were very good though, fast and true.
We did have one problem, when finishing the 13th hole you naturally walk towards the next tee box which is in fact the 18th (the 14th is next to it). This needs to be signposted better as we played the 18th and only realised later on, we still played all 18 but went about it the wrong way.
I can't comment on the clubhouse as we only went in to pick up our scorecards. We got a deal on the price because we was staying at the hotel, £19 each which was very reasonable.
