What the club says: Our par 70, 18 hole Golf Course is designed to USPGA specifications by Henry Cotton and Donald Steel. It is both challenging and enjoyable, featuring, as it does, a mix of hazards through parkland and woodland copses.
Because it stands on chalk sub-strata with a constant drainage system, we are able to offer year-round golfing on permanent tees and greens. The Coach House bar is perfectly placed for the 19th hole and offers all-day breakfasts as part of the menu.

Not bad for the price
Not bad for the price. The practice facilities are awful and not because of COVID. Putting green is overgrown and no driving range or chipping area. Course was nice.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 97 Handicap: 22.7)

Amazing after the first set of holes
Very interesting after the first part which seems to be late addition to this 1900'ish course. Well kept greens and challenging rolling fairways.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 20)

Great golf course

Excellent Course
First time visiting Shendish Manor and was very impressed. The lady in reception was most welcoming, giving us some useful information on the course and layout and helping us find our way around. Considering the recent weather the course was in fantastic condition. It is a short course but I feel this makes you think more about your golf, rather than just pulling driver every time. We will be back.

Fun but very short
Played for the first time this weekend. Good for a relaxed round as most holes very short and you can miss right and still be in play (although in some areas the course is tight so on a busy day this would be dangerous). If 12 handicap or better and hitting well off the tee you can play most holes with a 3 wood and a wedge so it won't test your iron game at all as one par 3 is also a wedge and another other is 200 yards uphill so probably a wood. However course was running fast so this may be different in winter.
