Very short and the greens were a struggle from 2ft
Good course for beginners given the length. But the greens were in need of a lot of tlc. Hollow toning and Scarification were definitely needed after the wet winter we had, but by the time I played (12/04/24) nothing had bed in. Ridges everywhere and uneven cut grass across the greens on most holes.Reviewer Rating

Not bad for the price
Not bad for the price. The practice facilities are awful and not because of COVID. Putting green is overgrown and no driving range or chipping area. Course was nice.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 97 Handicap: 22.7)

Cramped criss cross tees
Front nine really pleasant, well designed holes, flowing and not very difficult. Went round in 40 shots quite easily, first time ever played there. Back nine is completely different and feels like a different course altogether but not in a good way. Really cramped fairways that are one on top of another, literally sharing fairways 15/16/17! There are literally 4 tee boxes within a 10 meter sq radius! Fairways criss cross, tee boxes all together, to be honest whoever designed that course should not design another course again!! We had balls whizz right over our heads within a couple of feet on 3 occasions. With not a shout of fore or an apology from any of the members who were competing in a club competition. On a positive note the course was very well maintained, the greens in good condition if a little varying in speed from Green to Green. First 12 holes slow speed then medium to very fast on a few of the last holes. Wouldn't mind coming back for a quick round on the front 9 only but that's it.Reviewer Rating

The first 7 holes are flat and relatively trouble free, then the fun starts. The remaining holes traverse the rolling hillside, with overhanging trees and clusters of bushes to contend with. There was only one cut of rough in some places, deep enough to conceal your ball. Some verges along a number of holes were intentionally long, find those and they would claim your ball. The only negative, a few greens were scarred with divots.

Nicely maintained course. Back 9 is more interesting. Middle section has a lot of lateral slopes. Good pace of play.

Played for second time. Didn't enjoy it as the first, not sure if it was me or whether I just really liked it first time round as it was new. Not a helpful review I know
