You simply won’t find better!

I’ve been playing this course for a number of years and whilst I’ve always enjoyed it, this year it has moved on in leaps. It’s hard to pinpoint what makes it so special but it seems that everything is top notch.

The staff as always are friendly and professional and exceeded expectations again this time.

I played on a Tuesday and whilst the car park was busy, I didn’t get held up at all.

My only regret is not living closer so I could play it more frequently.

Well done Sapey and I hope to see you soon.

Superb

Played as part of a society and although the rough was extremely long (we were told that the rough mower is out of action by the shop staff) we all thought the course was superb. A nice mix of challenging different holes and an easy walk. The greens were fantastic! As were the fairways . All in all a very enjoyable course and the food was top notch. We will be returning.

Exceptional

We played in the Seniors Open yesterday and had a wonderful day. The course was presented to a high standard, the pace of play was fair for such a large field of competitors, the food was great and we received a warm welcome from the staff. Sapey is a credit to the current owner who has a created a beautiful venue.

My only regret is the distance from me. If it were closer we would certainly consider membership.

Seniors Away Day

Very nice

Booked to play here last minute on a bit of a whim. What a great find.

The course is absolutely fantastic with some really good holes. Found the back 9 more challenging. Pace of play was great, we weren’t held up and got around in 3:40mins.

Clubhouse atmosphere was really nice and the staff were cheery and looked after us very well.

We got chatting to the manager Gary who was telling us about the club and future plans which sound exciting.

We are relocating next year and think we’ve found our new golf club when we do.

Quite Exceptional

Played today following torrential rain last night and this morning and have to say the course played very well. I remember this being a wet course so really was very impressed.

The greens were slick and true and the course presented very nicely.

I’m becoming very fond off this place, will definitely be back soon.

I've been a member here for the last 2 years and it hasn't disappointed. The development of the course under new owners and management is obvious and I can't recommend it enough. The staff are very friendly and approachable which is more than can be said for most courses I've visited!

Beautiful Par 3's

Found the course in fantastic condition and an great day had by all on our Captains away day. Hospitality second to none, we were really well looked after. There are 5 Par 3's which are all special in their own right. My favourite was 11th, over the water. (Perhaps that's because I had a 2 there). In all seriousness, great course, fabulous condition and will 100% be back.

Fabulous course in really good condition, lots of work being done to assist with drainage but this does not cause a problem. Greens true and in good condition. Fairways also in good condition and plenty of sand in the bunkers. We played behind a ladies competition and pace of play was really good, never really being held up. Pro shop being refurbished so had to use the clubhouse restaurant and the staff were extremely friendly. Great breakfast after our round with friendly staff once again.

Excellent Course

I wish we lived closer

My wife and I ventured out for a days golf after hearing great things about Sapey and were not disappointed. Beautiful course with some really fantastic views. The par 3's are all really quite spectacular and the attention to detail second to none.

There was some construction work at the front of the clubhouse which didn't affect us in the slightest whilst we had lunch.

We both agreed that if we lived a little closer we would have no hesitation joining here as a second club.

A True Gem

I absolutely love this course. It's design & layout offer something different on every hole. The fairways & greens are superbly looked after and the par 3s are some of the best I've ever played; the 8th is a particular favourite with its water features! The course provides a challenging but achievable game for players at all levels. The staff, whether in the clubhouse or out on the course are professional, friendly & welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Sapey & look forward to returning for another game.
