What the club says: All weather course offers 18 holes of delightful golf in a spectacular setting high above the Severn Valley with panoramic views across to the Malvern, Abberley and Clee hills. Located between Birmingham and Worcester, our peaceful setting is surrounded by an excellent road network making it accessible. Designed by professionals in 1989, the 18-hole course is formed by two nine hole loops, both starting and finishing at the clubhouse to provide ten par 4's, four par 3's and four par 5's split evenly over the course - Par 72 over 6139 yards.

Resiliant

This course holds up under all weather conditions. With many local courses closed for several weeks because of saturation from persistent rain this course remained open on full tees and greens. Greens were in great condition.

Great Winter Course

Course was in excellent condition, well recommended winter course. Drinks were a bit expensive in the bar but it didn't spoil an excellent day.

Slow play

It was really slow. Too many people on the course and no marshal to speed things up.

Ombersley

The course played well and is not a difficult challenge but has some tricky holes over water and round corners etc. It drains very well so even in very wet conditions you can always get round easily. The greens are quite slow but true.

Nice Open Course

Ombersley golf course is a well laid out and managed course. The fairways are wide and whilst they are dog-legged there are few obstacles such as streams, pools etc with the exception of the 18th.

A friendly afternoon game.

Just fancied an afternoons game with a friend. Arrangements for a Tee time and buggy hire very simple and straightforward. Given the exceptionally dry spell we are having currently the Tee’s and Green are in excellent condition as are most of the fairways. A bit windy on the day due to its location but otherwise everything was good. Friendly staff and a well deserved pint at the 19th !!!

The course is a mixed terrain--1st 9 holes a little undulating, the 2nd 9, rather flat except the 16 & 17 with an uphill drive. The 18th has a lake to drive across if in the wrong position. Also on the 2nd 9 there are some spectacular views of the countryside.
