What The Club Says
Kidderminster Golf Club, formerly known as the Comberton Golf Club, was formed in 1909. The move to form the Comberton Club was a bold one, as there already was an established club in Kidderminster on Aggborough Links.

First visit
We played a fourball yesterday & when we arrived we were greeted in the pro shop with a warm friendly welcome. The course played well, the greens were in great nick, no bobbles & the speed was just right. Only minor thing was the amount of leaves, but as we all know that is inevitable at this time of year. After our round we popped into bar for a quick pint & some light lunch, both of which were very good and very reasonable. Again we were made to feel very welcome by the staff again. We will be backReviewer Rating

Challenging parkland course
Played in late July as a morning 2-ball.Pro Shop were very welcoming and helpful, the pro chatted to us about the course.
Pace of play was excellent, course was quiet.
Greens were immaculate, however fairways were brown and bare, although this is the same for the other courses nearby due to lack of rainfall.
First 6 holes I found a bit repetitive. Straight, tight holes with little features.
Back 9 was much more interesting, slightly more open and greater variation in holes layouts.

ALAW
Played Sunday 15th June. What a fantastic course. Fairways and greens are in superb condition and the layout with the tree lined fairways is quality. Might consider joining. Chapeau KGCReviewer Rating

Really helpful & friendly
Kidderminster made me and my guest feel very welcome. Considering the awful weather we’ve had I thought the course was in good condition. No hesitation in recommending and hope to play again soon.Reviewer Rating

Oh dear?.
First time back in over a year and having heard of recent improvements I was interested to see what had been done. It didn't start well when a couple of members said keep out of the bunkers as they are awful, the greens are nice but very firm?.Anyway off we went and straight away you could see the course was a bit shabby?the greens on the whole looked great and rolled really well with a very nice speed too?.but?.they were firm and hard to hold and there were a good few brown patches and a couple were even that dry they had no grass and had cracked?..
Some of the bunkers looked nice?.many didn't?.some have been riveted and looked nice even tho some had weeds/grass growing in them.

Not Good
Played here in a competition and I was very disappointed especially after reading previous positive reviews. The course felt very wet underfoot and had a look of a course lacking investment. Greens were ok, tees were average, fairways poor and don’t even get me started on the bunkers (if that’s what you can call them). Couple of the guys in the shop were friendly. Food was poor at best……not even sure what it was tbh.Reviewer Rating
