What the club says: Kidderminster Golf Club, formerly known as the Comberton Golf Club, was formed in 1909. The move to form the Comberton Club was a bold one, as there already was an established club in Kidderminster on Aggborough Links.

Played in pair doubles
Open doubles comp and felt course was ok but greens maintenance affected the greens massively but overall course good and enjoyed the day. Will definitely look to return as great hospitality and Lauren was so nice and friendly in clubhouse.

Nice course with good variety
Visited this course around 9 months ago and it was in terrible condition so I was cautious about returning but I’m glad I did.Fairways have seen a lot of improvement and the greens were always of a good standard and remain quite fast. Playing the afternoon on a hot day they were rather firm and would have benefited from a water but overall the course wasn’t in bad shape.
The only criticism would be the bunkers, all of the players in my group found the sand to be shallow which took away any confidence when playing a conventional bunker shot.
Pro shop were very welcoming though and the course wasn’t too busy with only slight hold ups on the back 9. Layout and design keeps the course interesting with a good variety of holes and challenges. Will definitely return, at £18 it was good value.

Lovely course

Apparently once a great course but not now
It has the feel of club that is running out of funds and are not spending on the upkeep of the course.

Tough

Paul B
Lovely setting and excellent greens. Lots of holes are both attractive and a true test of golf. 3rd, 7th, 11th, 13th, 14th and 17th stand out in this regard as do the three par 3’s.

A hidden gem
Superb greens despite hot weather. Fairways taking a battering but should pick up over winter. Plenty of remedial work taking place and look forward to playing again next year.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 104 Handicap: 0)

Nice Parkland Course
Played here as my home course is in a maintenance week.Good deal from a website.
Nice welcome in the Pro Shop.
Fairways are showing evidence of the hot summer - bare in places but firm and running - a local lift and place rule was in force.
Excellent greens, nice pace and firm, not many pitch marks from previous groups.
Good pace of play.
First hole downhill, next 16 fairly flat, last is uphill and the drive is daunting, across a local road!

Stunning, well worth a visit
Great course, great condition. Played the weekend and the competition was organised extremely professionally, it was fully booked and you can see why, great price, great condition, everyone to made feel welcome from the lads in the shop through to bar staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely Course
Played this for the first time and thought it was great. At 6100 yards not short, mainly tree lined with some very interesting features. Certainly makes you think and long hitters who might sometimes go a bit awry might think about going with irons. Many of the greens surrounded by bunkers which will test your chip shots and ability to keep them on the greens. One bugbear was some of the bunkers did not have the best sand in them not helped by the downpour we had. That wont stop me going back.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 98 Handicap: 18)

Local Course
Invited an a corporate day - great weather and the course in excellent condition considering all the wet weather
