What the club says: Bewdley Pines is par 69 course which welcomes visitors to try their skills and enjoy its beautiful settings.
The course is based on sandy soil, so even on the wettest of days the course drains within a very short time, and very rarely are days lost due to the weather, also there has never been a trolley ban on the course just showing how good the drainage is.

Very Very poor and unhelpful
Signed up for the golf mixed open at Bewdley Pines on 1st June 2025.We booked a buggy because my partner and I have severe back problems and unable to play without one.
We were told over the phone that it would be £18, so I booked one.
When I got to the course and went to get my buggy I was told it would be £30 not £18, the pro shop were disinterested and unhelpful (it was there mistake over the phone).
I said that I was going to withdraw from the competition and went to speak to one of the organisers.
When I stated the problem and said I was going to withdraw even though we had travelled approx 1.5 hours to get there and it was the club's fault.
Rather than them trying to be helpful as it was the club's fault, I was told that I would not get my entry fee back (£30 that I had paid in advance) because it was the day of the competition.
Therefore we were held to ransom by the club. So rather than losing my entry fee and letting down my playing partners, I had to pay the £30 for the buggy.
An extremely bad experience
A very poor show on behalf of the pro shop and the organisers who were totally disinterested. Last time we play there

Its rained for weeks and its dry!
Me and my partner (best mate) went to a couple of courses during the winter and like most winter golf had to play on temp greens and walk through rivers to play. We hared that Bewdley was a dry winter course and we set out to play yesterday. We were very imporessed and ranked it near to the top of the courses that we have played over the last 3 years. The holes are varied and make you think and the course its in immaculate condition given the 3 months of rain we have had. We went off at 11.30 and there were a few old boys infront. It slowed the game down quite a bit, but the views on some of the holes made it worth slowing down.Really looking forward to playing again in the summer.

Great Winter Course
Played on 15/12/23, club house was very welcoming and the full breakfast was good. The course surprised me in how dry it was, and we played off the grass tee boxes.
The fairways were in good condition, the layout interesting with the 4th in particular requiring you to plan your strategy.
I thought the greens were in excellent condition, they were happy to accept a ball from height, yet were true and fast.
A great day out in mid December, I will definitely be back.

Played the course after rain so greens receptive. The front 7 holes demand accuracy off the tee keep to the left as the slopes will work your ball down to the right. From 8 through to 18 the course opens up more giving you a real chance to score low.Reviewer Rating

Best course you've never heard of
Brilliant, challenging layout. Unforgiving of anything off line. Plenty to think about, especially with the 'driveable' par 4s.Reviewer Rating

The course is not long but is a real test. There are a number of blind holes where thought has to come into the Tee shot. The 3rd hole is quite possibly the narrowest hole I have ever played. The course was busy but the pace of play was good.

Great course
Never played here before and must say what a treat. Superb greens ( best I've played all year and it's November!). Not a long course but played off the white tees and there?s some very right holes that require precision positional play to even have a shot at the greens. Excellent all round.Reviewer Rating

Beauty
Played it a few times now and think its fantastic. Well set out, lovely views, lovely looking fairways and greens. First six holes are quite tight through the trees esp the tricky third, then after the sixth opens up quite a bit. Lots of danger about so pick your shots. Some long par 3's but lovely little downhill par 3 the14th (pity it was off the mat yesterday :-( ). The greens very plush but I found them hard to read, pace and direction, have a walk around the hole before taking your shot. Great amenities, practice chipping green, putting green and nets. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. What's not to like, no golf shoes in the bar so take your shoes. Hope to be back soon.Reviewer Rating

straight is a must
Nice warm welcome in the club house for the October medal, changing rooms excellent. 120yrd practice area (bring your own ????)Layout is excellent and rewards good golf, 3rd 4th & 14th settle in a find your best. Anything off line is DEAD. greens good with plenty of healthy grass coverage, left longer for Autumn I'd guess. not a long course but very rewarding all the same. an hour from Coventry.
4hr round felt like it took 5 waiting on every shot. glad the day was a beauty. very much worth a visit and a must winter track.

Fabulous course near Bewdley
We were made to feel most welcome on arrival and encountered some of the most intriguing first few holes we’ve been met with. This very well maintained course continued to present plenty of changes and challenges including very fair greens . A good well stocked 19th .. we would definitely return(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 89 Handicap: 22.9)
