Very Very poor and unhelpful
Signed up for the golf mixed open at Bewdley Pines on 1st June 2025.We booked a buggy because my partner and I have severe back problems and unable to play without one.
We were told over the phone that it would be £18, so I booked one.
When I got to the course and went to get my buggy I was told it would be £30 not £18, the pro shop were disinterested and unhelpful (it was there mistake over the phone).
I said that I was going to withdraw from the competition and went to speak to one of the organisers.
When I stated the problem and said I was going to withdraw even though we had travelled approx 1.5 hours to get there and it was the club's fault.
Rather than them trying to be helpful as it was the club's fault, I was told that I would not get my entry fee back (£30 that I had paid in advance) because it was the day of the competition.
Therefore we were held to ransom by the club. So rather than losing my entry fee and letting down my playing partners, I had to pay the £30 for the buggy.
An extremely bad experience
A very poor show on behalf of the pro shop and the organisers who were totally disinterested. Last time we play there

SLOW!
Paid for 18. Gave up after 9 taking nearly 3 hours (11:45 tee off on a Sunday).Reviewer Rating

Short course but can be quite tricky on the front 9 the par 4 3rd hole is probable the hardest hole I've ever played. From then on its quite easy. Nice course

Hi we played yesterday and found the greens very sandy, pitted it made for very inconsistent putting, we were a 2 ball and it tuck over 4 1/2 hrs in a buggy, being held up by 4 balls in front of us, it was our first time playing the course and you are hitting blind on a lot of holes, the views are great, we won't play here again

Brilliant Course - Old buggers ruined it
The course is brilliant and for me it's brilliant looking golf course .. but the old Gits that were there ruined it for us. Me and my mate weren't playing badly and they refused to let us through .. the round was ruined by then. We had to miss a hole - We were fine for another 5/6 holes then there was a big traffic jam it took us 55 minutes to play the last 3 holes and I played it one over. It's a shame I really like the course - we even saw some members that were a right laugh to talk to .. but the clientele will put me of returning.Reviewer Rating

More expensive than I'd like. Course scorched in places. Traffic the majority of the way round, but didn't slow us down much.

Fantastic course worth visiting

Good value at £17 for a midweek afternoon round. Course in good condition, plenty of sand in the bunkers, fairways and greens well maintained, the latter weren't as fast as some courses but may have needed another cut due to the time of day. Nice variety to the course with some tight early holes before the course opens up a little.
