Good condition, very few hazards and very few bunkers. The trees were not established and so had the feel of a modern course. Decent but expensive for what it is

On the other 2 occasions the above were OK.
The couse like mentioned is very forgiving which is a pleasure for a player of my standard(25) and the staff and facilities are very good.
A little over priced tho and does get very busy!

Slow play
It was really slow. Too many people on the course and no marshal to speed things up.Reviewer Rating

Forgiving and fairly flat
Played on a sun soaked day during two ball lockdown. Pace wasn’t amazing as a couple in front seemed to be pretty slow but still under 4hrs. Greens were receptive and true (definitely watered as I was surprised to be repairing pitch marks in 25 degrees). Cups above the surface was less enjoyable than those courses who have opted for a shallower cup to allow easier ball retrieval. Course was pretty baked but played well. Not sure on some of the yardages, drive on the last left me 150 in and I definitely don’t drive it near 344! Also had a 90 yard shot where I took SW and over hit it by 30 yards which again isn’t normally in the locker. Played poorly but still scored ok for me, no stand out holes but it’s a forgiving open course in good nick.(Round played: May 2020 - Score: 105 Handicap: 25.1)

Society day
Great day, good weather, this course needed a mower for the tees which the grass was very long and playing Ombersley has become a costly affair, it seems that the owners are putting there prices up as a breakfast and a coffee was almost £10.00 !!(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 83 Handicap: 12.7)
