Love it

After the greens maintenance masters week the greens took about 3 weeks to settle down but boy was it worth it. Running so pure and quick now. The grass coverage on them is amazing. Fairways and rough look great with a superb definition all round. Great mix of holes that will challenge all aspects of your game yet still give you an enjoyable experience.

Impressive

Given the start to the year with the weather I must say I thought the course (badgers/deer) was in great condition. Great mix of holes, well designed that can challenge and reward any golfer. Greens looked and rolled nice and will only get better.
Get yourself a game here and take in all it has to offer.

Very Impressive

First time back here in a good few years and I have to say how impressed I was with all aspects of the course especially the greens.
We played badger then deer and both 9’s were in great condition. The grass coverage on the greens was as good as I’ve seen all year and the roll was very impressive. I could also see that a lot of time and effort has gone into drainage on the course. Also some of the bunkers have been updated and they really do look the part.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my return here and look forward to returning again at some stage soon.

Great Welcome

The staff really look after you from Pro shop to breakfast and beer. Really enjoy Cleobury.
Unfortunately the weather recently has not helped them shoe the course off for how hood it is.

In need of some dry weather

Played Foxes and Badgers in that order. Front 9 was still suffering the effects of the wet weather. Clear the mowers haven’t been able to get out with overgrown fairways. Still pretty boggy too with balls repeatedly plugging. Back nine was better with some mown fairways and a bit drier underfoot. Bunkers were terrible throughout with no sand and weeds growing, treated them all as GUR as a result. Greens were ok but quite a few bobbles as again they need some drier weather. Decent Masters deal at £37.50 with a burger and a pint but the standard £40 green fee would’ve been too high for the current condition. (Although keeping them high to minimise course use probably isn’t a bad thing). Friendly staff and nice course so will head back once the nicer weather has been around for a while.
