Impressive
Given the recent weather I thought the course had help up very well. Great coverage of grass all over the course. Greens soft but still good. Great mix of holes that would suit all levels of golfer.Reviewer Rating

Condition of course excellent, greens fast and true.
Rough is still rough but managed so, whilst its place you'd rather not be, finding your ball is still possible.
Pro shop and reception teams are very friendly and helpful to all ages and abilities.
Useful chipping/bunker practice areas maintained as well as the course.

played here on Easter Monday very hot course in good condition greens seemed a little slow but maybe that was just me as I did not seem to be able to hole any putts. Played 18 holes for the first time this year and walked the course steady pace we did not hold anyone up and no held us up. Always an enjoyable course to play pro shop as always very helpful, will be back as again

fantastic course
Although the car park was full and we had to park in the approach road we never had to wait at any hole other than to let the man mowing the tee box or fairways complete there job in fact on the second nine we did not see any other players until we approached the final hole when we saw a two ball teeing off(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 100 Handicap: 23.8)

Excellent course and friendly team. Three distinct courses each of nine holes gives variety and reduces waiting time thereby improving pace of play. Even when the car park is full you can often feel that you have the course to yourself. The course is well maintained and the greens are excellent. The lessons available offer very good value and are well delivered. Practice facilities include driving net, pitching area including bunkers and a putting area.

Stunning
Played the Foxes Run (2nd time) & Deer Park (1st time),Very impressed with the Foxes again and thought the Deer was an awesome 9 holes,
Greens were in great condition (few had been top dressed),
Very true and quite quick. Fairways were immaculate and the bunkers were some of the best I've played for a while (and I do go in plenty). Dave very welcoming as always as we're the staff in the bar. Food was lovely and well priced. Will definitely be returning.

Fantastic Place Must Visit
From the moment of booking to the moment we left the service has been first class.Golf in the 21st century non of this must wear that, must do this. Just come and enjoy yourselves and play golf.
Tom is fantastic along with everyone from the pro shop.
The courses are second to non in great condition. Including one of the best par 3 holes I have played on the Deer Course.
Lodges are brilliant we had 3 between and they are ideal. Gent from the Talbot even picked us up and took us home from his pub to watch the football.
it was captains weekend on our arrival and even though busy all weekend it did not effect the golf. I made a joke to the captain on the Friday night about being tight and I don't know if this effected him but there was free water and snacks on the first tee for Saturday.
Will be booking to go back next year without a doubt.

stayed on caravan club site, staff were superb, special mention for Matt in shop. Facilities superb, course really good. Would definitely come again and, reccomend.

Played in a 3 ball Sat 9th July. We waited for the early morning rain to stop then went out and were greeted by a fantastic course. We played the Badgers and Deer 9's and was very impressed. You have to think your way round a cleverly thought out course. A great variety of different holes using bunkers, some water, greens with steep slopes on some edges etc etc. Will be returning. Friendly staff and nice club house and terrace.
