Par 3 course is completely atrocious

Played the Par 3 course which doubles for foot golf and there’s no other way to describe it other than completely atrocious. It’s criminal to charge £10 per person to play 9 holes on a course you haven’t mowed or taken care of for months. The fairways are more like a rough and the rough is more like a jungle, litter all over the place. Will never come back.

Not good experience

Only 16holes in play. No apology given and we weren't notified when we booked. Bunkers like concrete. Fairways were OK and greens slow but ok. Dissapointing though. Very slow play aswell held up by groups in front etc. 4.5 hours for 16holes! The layout though is nice with a couple of really pretty holes. Just let down by the experience today. I won't be rushing back.

There was a lot of noise coming from the next field over and the people playing kickball making it hard to concentrate and the greens were inadequate

Lots of lawn mower engine noise and loud music from the neighbouring field where there was Lawn Mower Racing. Also golf spoilt by several groups of Kickballers. Greens spoilt by huge Kickball holes on them. Some parts of greens very hard short and fast, some parts green long and slow.

Good layout

Good layout not the longest but tree lined and good obstacles, greens far too firm even on long par 3 holes some variety of speed too. Sort that out and would be an excellent location even out in nibble of nowhere

Course in good condition even with how hot and dry it’s been. Green staff were out watering greens which were in excellent condition.

Unfortunately the previous day had been very wet, so the course was quite damp. Fairways in good condition, rough not too bad but the greens were not up to standard - lots of bare patches and need of a cut. Too many leaves around which caused a few problems looking for balls. Most holes were on temporary tees which were not good, puzzling really as the winter tees were close by but not in use in the main. I would imagine that it is a completely different experience in the summer and play again.

Nice parkland course that has some good holes but nothing particularly memorable. Can't understand its high position in the 100 best courses in the West Midlands on this site. Course is boggy at the moment with everything stopping instantly and plugging in the worst spots. Greens are very wet and have lots of indented footprints from previous groups so putting is a bit of a lottery if you hit the footprints. The wind can get very strong and swirls around the course feeling like every hole is into the wind. Will try again next spring/summer when things dry out. Excellent value on daily deal from teetimes.
