The Augusta of Worcestershire
Was working in the North Worcestershire area today, and got a stroke of luck with all my calls done early. So thought i would try a cheeky 18 at this lovely little course, as i had passed many times. From the initial call to the friendly pro shop, who managed to fit me in, even though the course was at near capacity (a great sign, seeing as the location is a little remote), Then from the happy and welcoming reception, this place is top drawer.
Now i like a course with a bit of a challenge, but not too over the top, as good scores always put a smile on your face. Well this place has it all.
A nicely stocked shop, beautiful practice green , and a very handily located practice net, within 30yds of 1st tee.
The course it self is a joy just to walk round, but at the same time if you understand the challenges a greenkeeper has to go through every day, you will fully appreciate the work done, to achieve the magnificient condition the team have got this course in. Potentially choosing a signature hole would be difficult, as there were 3 that i would consider as fitting at some of europes top venues.
The bar area and terrace were also a great place to spend an hour catching up on emails when i had finished.
All in all, this was a gem of a find, and i strongly advise anyone travelling or looking for somewhere a little bit different to play, where golfers of all abilities could be challenged enough, then do not hesitate to drop by this venue.

A challenging course to play.
Played here last week and the course was immaculate. The fairways are lush and cut short. The rough is punishing if you end up in certain places. So stick to the fairways!!! Greens were rolling true and had a good speed to them. The clubhouse is inviting and the service is excellent. Could not fault it one bit. A great track to test any golfer.Reviewer Rating

Great Course & Very Friendly
It was great to get out for a round for the first time in months and Sapey was a good choice. The course was busy but we weren't held up at all and played 18 holes in just under 4 hours.
Nothing bad to say about the course at all, it's a good test of golf and well maintained, there are some stunning views too.
When we arrived we were greeted by Gareth who took over as the new manager last week, I wish him all the best, nice guy and very helpful.
If it was closer to home I'd become a member.

Mr
I went to Sapey GC recently for a fitting for my new irons and was incredibly impressed from start to finish. As I arrived I was greeted by Martin who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the fitting. He made sure I was happy with the clubs he fitted me with and talked me through the process. After purchasing the clubs I played 9 holes and was impressed with how well kept the course was. Overall a great experience and will definitely going back to Sapey soon!Reviewer Rating

A True Gem
I absolutely love this course. It's design & layout offer something different on every hole. The fairways & greens are superbly looked after and the par 3s are some of the best I've ever played; the 8th is a particular favourite with its water features! The course provides a challenging but achievable game for players at all levels. The staff, whether in the clubhouse or out on the course are professional, friendly & welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Sapey & look forward to returning for another game.Reviewer Rating
