Great

Pleasantly surprised how good condition the course was in following heavy rain. Greens and fairways some of the best I’ve played this year.

Food and staff were good and I won so all in all a good day.

Not good experience

Only 16holes in play. No apology given and we weren't notified when we booked. Bunkers like concrete. Fairways were OK and greens slow but ok. Dissapointing though. Very slow play aswell held up by groups in front etc. 4.5 hours for 16holes! The layout though is nice with a couple of really pretty holes. Just let down by the experience today. I won't be rushing back.

The Augusta of Worcestershire

Was working in the North Worcestershire area today, and got a stroke of luck with all my calls done early. So thought i would try a cheeky 18 at this lovely little course, as i had passed many times.
From the initial call to the friendly pro shop, who managed to fit me in, even though the course was at near capacity (a great sign, seeing as the location is a little remote), Then from the happy and welcoming reception, this place is top drawer.
Now i like a course with a bit of a challenge, but not too over the top, as good scores always put a smile on your face. Well this place has it all.

A nicely stocked shop, beautiful practice green , and a very handily located practice net, within 30yds of 1st tee.

The course it self is a joy just to walk round, but at the same time if you understand the challenges a greenkeeper has to go through every day, you will fully appreciate the work done, to achieve the magnificient condition the team have got this course in. Potentially choosing a signature hole would be difficult, as there were 3 that i would consider as fitting at some of europes top venues.
The bar area and terrace were also a great place to spend an hour catching up on emails when i had finished.

All in all, this was a gem of a find, and i strongly advise anyone travelling or looking for somewhere a little bit different to play, where golfers of all abilities could be challenged enough, then do not hesitate to drop by this venue.

A challenging course to play.

Played here last week and the course was immaculate. The fairways are lush and cut short. The rough is punishing if you end up in certain places. So stick to the fairways!!! Greens were rolling true and had a good speed to them. The clubhouse is inviting and the service is excellent. Could not fault it one bit. A great track to test any golfer.

Great Course & Very Friendly

It was great to get out for a round for the first time in months and Sapey was a good choice.

The course was busy but we weren't held up at all and played 18 holes in just under 4 hours.

Nothing bad to say about the course at all, it's a good test of golf and well maintained, there are some stunning views too.

When we arrived we were greeted by Gareth who took over as the new manager last week, I wish him all the best, nice guy and very helpful.

If it was closer to home I'd become a member.
