Fabulous course in really good condition, lots of work being done to assist with drainage but this does not cause a problem. Greens true and in good condition. Fairways also in good condition and plenty of sand in the bunkers. We played behind a ladies competition and pace of play was really good, never really being held up. Pro shop being refurbished so had to use the clubhouse restaurant and the staff were extremely friendly. Great breakfast after our round with friendly staff once again.

I wish we lived closer

My wife and I ventured out for a days golf after hearing great things about Sapey and were not disappointed. Beautiful course with some really fantastic views. The par 3's are all really quite spectacular and the attention to detail second to none.

There was some construction work at the front of the clubhouse which didn't affect us in the slightest whilst we had lunch.

We both agreed that if we lived a little closer we would have no hesitation joining here as a second club.

What a Gem

Stumbled across Sapey GC whilst searching for somewhere for our annual away day and so glad we did. I’ve returned twice since with different friends and am impressed each time. Really lovely course and such a warm welcome each time.

Well done Sapey, we shall see you again soon :-)

Beautiful Course

Played today and had a fabulous day. The course is so pretty, well kept and a fair challenge.

Food was amazing, I had the homemade chicken curry and it was lovely. So nice in fact I’d return just for the food.

I've always liked to play at Sapey but with the hike in price from £25-£30 to £38 and the poor greens i have to say i wont be playing this coarse in the near future such a shame as i said its a lovely golf club.

Great day out

Played with our society today. Course was great, has matured really well and attention to detail apparent. Looked after before and after the round with lovely food. Sat on balcony after round in the sun watching rest of players putt out on 18th green. Could have stayed there all day.

Will 100% be returning here.

Great course

Sapey is a course I had never really heard of but what a course well maintained the greens were in good condition looks like they have done a lot of work over the winter months. Keep up the good work I will be returning soon ????

What a Beauty

Played here a few years back and the course was lacking some tlc. Was convinced to return by friends and really happy I did as it is worlds apart from my first visit. For the time of year the it was in great condition. You can see there is being some money spent in all the right places.

Some stunning holes which I can imagine will be a delight in the summer. Definitely planning to return and highly recommended

Great Place

I felt I had to write a brief note following our visit to your golf course yesterday.

I had been tasked with arranging a “Captains Day “for our golf society and wanted somewhere different.
Having chosen Sapey for the event and never having been to the club prior who was to know if the day would go well.
How pleased I was that the day was such a success and how well we were treated.
I congratulate your staff who were so accommodating and welcoming,
the food before and after the golf was excellent and the golf course was in really good condition.

We should have had a larger contingent on the day but due to holidays and prior commitments our numbers dwindled I am pretty sure many golf clubs would have overlooked our merry band as insignificant how refreshing it was to be treated the way we were.

Congratulations again to all at Sapey Golf club keep doing what you are doing, we will be back.

Great challenging course

I was expecting to struggle to break 100 as it was the first time I'd played here playing off 23, but managed 91 so well pleased. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all excellent. Super clubhouse.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had on our visit to Sapey. The golf corse was immaculate and will definitely be returning to play again. I would highly recommend to anyone considering booking a game at Sapey.

First learned to play golf here at Sapey and been a member ever since beautiful course, great staff and an all round pleasure to be a member here. I would 100% recommend whether you are a visitor or a potential new member. The course is just getting better and better and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for Sapey!
