Good course for this time of year
This is the third time I have played this course. Each occasion I have really enjoyed it. For the time of year, the greens were in very good condition, especially as it had been raining heavy. Definitely will play again.Negative aspect was the bacon sandwich afterwards, in the hotel, which was terrible.!!!

Painfully slow!
A fantastic course, but let down by pace of play.Very poorly managed ( in fact not managed at all) on course, didn't see 1 Marshall , which is very disappointing considering the course was very busy. On several tees we had to wait behind 2 other groups, which contributed to 5 hour plus round.
This is quite often happiness on this course, and have previously walked off mid round on 2 other occasions.
Otherwise, the course is in great condition and is a real test

Good but Busy
Course in very good condition. First two holes are a bit boring but the rest are good with some real quirky holes. Clubhouse good but becoming run down - needs investment,(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 90 Handicap: 14.7)

Extremely fast greens, get true roll. The course is in decent condition but the rough is ridiculous, far too thick. Hit several fairways and my ball would trickle into the rough, lost several balls when I should have been in great position for approach shots. Rough ruined the round for me, on both courses. Ignoring the rough, great courses there.

Good all round day the course was wet in areas but the greens and fairway were playable.
Hotel prices for drinks and food was expensive for what you got.

Teeing off at 1.30pm on a Wednesday, we had the course to ourselves. This helps because there was no one rushing you to complete each hole.

Course in good condition. Could have played an extra 3 holes the time it took the bar staff to serve 2 coffees. Ah well, you can't always have everything for £25.
