Great course - play in summer
Excellent course - only ever played this time of year. Need to go back and play it in the summer. Tough course in winter where scoring is more difficult. there is no roll and preferred lies. Would recommend(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 90 Handicap: 11.1)

Great course
We had a group on deal, so was fantastic value for money. The course is well maintained & great designed, Friendly staff well worth a visit,(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 99 Handicap: 23)

Portal championship

The Championship course is beautifully maintained with excellent greens, each hole is interesting, offering a different challenge.

Very pleasantly surprised. Excellent from top to bottom. Clubhouse, bar and waiting staff, guys in the proshop, (though the shop itself not the best I suppose). But the course was really good. Greens in particular I thought, despite some heavy rain earlier in the day there was no issue underfoot or with the bunkers. A picturesque mature parkland course that delivers a good test of golf. Price was great too and our deal included tea and a bacon sarnie.
