The greens were excellent but the course is pretty bland and way too many doglegs to cram in the holes.

Not an attractive course.

All in all, it's OK. Plenty of other far superior courses in this price bracket, so won't be hurrying back there (especially as even after joining up with another 2 ball, the round took over 5 hours, waiting to take every shot).

Very tough course for even the slightest wayward shot, as the coastal link style long grass comes almost to the edge of the fairways. Very small first cut area.
Most holes have narrow fairways and are surrounded by hilly rough.
So, a hard, unforgiving course.
Facilities are currently temporary as they are about to try to build a new clubhouse and facilities but planning consent still being denied. However, facilities before were awfull, old portacabins arranged to produce reception/shop, bar/restaurant and seperate clubroom. I never found members area but apparently there were changing rooms for members somewhere.
Because of the previous appalling, and unfortunately current poor, facilities, I consider round prices expensive compared to others nearby.
they don't offer cheap onlinteetimes via any websites, and only accept Greenfree vouchers.
In fairness, two positives: cheapest driving range for miles around and has happy hours; recently added Tour Pro Academy and one of the instructors is a very good ex-PGA tour Pro.
I don't play rounds there anymore for the reasons above; the range is, however, very popular with me.

Green fees at £10 after 12 midweek make this good value for money.
The "club house" is a portacabin and has been this way for years. Think it's something to do with planning permission but lets the course down and not somewhere to go if you are planning a society or other mass gathering
