What a shame
This should be a fun place to play golf - all the rough has been hacked down so there's no jeopardy if you open your shoulders and give it a rip. The layout has a few interesting holes and the undulating greens make you think about your putts. But, the reception staff (they've gone beyond rude and are now positively hostile to visitors) and the glacial pace of play (4hrs 45mins midweek) absolutely ruin the experience. I promised not to come back here a few years ago, but once or twice a year I'm persuaded against my better judgement to give it another chance. It never gets any better. More fool me for thinking that it might because I gave them £33 of my hard-earned English pounds.Reviewer Rating

Pedham
1st time playing it interesting as each hole seems to be in a bowl eg grass banking both sides.. but good enough had a good breakfast. Was held up at end by slow players wouldn't let us through but enjoyed it!Reviewer Rating

Slow play nightmare
I've played Pedham a few times last year, but mainly twilight rounds. This was my first time teeing off at 1pm and it took us 5 hours to get round. Stopped at every hole by a 2 ball in front who were closed up behind a 3 ball, who themselves were behind another 2 ball.Reviewer Rating

Slow .....
Great course, great condition. Shop's not up to much unfortunately but the rest of the facilities are pretty sharp. One massive problem though, the pace of play. We turned up for our booked game to find someone else checking in on the hoof, he was slotted in because I heard the reception say, "its a quiet day". If that was a quiet day then I'd hate to be there when it was busy, not far short of 5 hours to play the course, waited on every single tee, including the first tee, sometimes for 10 mins+. Totally lost any rythm by the end of the course and at one point there were three groups waiting on one tee. Its unacceptable and the course desperately desperately needs a marshall pushing the players along. Would play there again but not for some time, pushed to recommend it because of the waiting time but it is a good course.Reviewer Rating

Loved the layout, challenging greens. greens were a bit too slow, but true, may just have been the day.Get a course map...

OK Course
Fairways are open and forgiving and as a beginner offer alot of oppurtunities to recover shots. Holes are straight but don't really offer much and aren't altogether very interesting. Fine course to play a round of golf on.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 101 Handicap: )
