Fairways and grees in great condition at 16 quid good value.The greens had been well looked after and ran true with some quick and some slower

Beautiful course - well kept - in cracking condition for the middle of winter . a real challenge

Course playing really well. Greens are in very nice condition. Fairways are cut to good length and members replace divots reliably and well. Rough is challenging but playable. Overl the course reward sensible golf. Try to be a hero and it can kill your round.

I usually meat people to play with at this course and have a double round of golf like a two ball or four ball depends who i meat

The course is a hidden gem. It looks professional from the entrance to the exit. The pro shop is small but has some great bargains and has what you need.
The course itself is cracking. The layout is superb. It is slightly tight and a little hilly. The greens are very good.
The clubhouse is very old in style but has good beer and great food at brilliant prices.
An excellent day out.

Just played here, no buggy, £15. What a little cracker of a course. Have driven past the entrance many, many times thinking it may be a little rough (the surrounding area is not the most affluent or picturesque) but couldn't believe what we found. As James said some of the greens were a little scalped and the remainder a little lush, but they were still receptive to a bit of backspin. It is late October afterall. The overall layout is excellent, if a bit confusing for a newcomer (no course maps and vague yardage markers) with some sweeping dog legs and tempting par 3's, but the locals were friendly and offered lots of advice. Well defined fairways lined with mature trees, some dangerous bunkers and hidden water hazards made for a very enjoyable round. Must try it in the summer, has the potential to be a real stunner.Reviewer Rating

little beauty
Ormonde fields is a cracking little course. It is very tight and requires accuracy at all times. The course was VERY wet, but the greens were still great. The layout is creative and has a great variety of holes. Even though it was very busy the pace of play was spot on.Reviewer Rating
