Feb - very wet but playable
After a few days of heavy rain not sure what to expect so here is the lowdown...Winter mat tees
Fairways wet but suggested use of fairway mats made it so much better (and keeps your clubs clean ;-)). Ball often plugged. Some very muddy areas.
I think winter rules in rough, and bunkers.
Summer greens, which was very welcome, but varied in length, speed (some wetter than others) and actually was the hardest part of the game to adjust to - for me.
Overall try not to let the conditions get to you and enjoy the day

What a bramer
Take your best walking legs it's hilly. Now the best bit, what a fantastic golf course. We played there yesterday and you will love it. It's a grown up golf course so keep your driver on standby and think your way around absolutely perfect.Reviewer Rating

played here before, the course just gets better. Still got some soft spots around the greens but a few days like today will have it dry.

Fairways and grees in great condition at 16 quid good value.The greens had been well looked after and ran true with some quick and some slower

Ormonde Fields Golf Course
We played a two ball around the course recently starting mid morning following a few days of quite heavy rain. The course was quite wet and boggy in some areas. This wasn't a real problem. The greens and fairways were in good condition, overall we enjoyed playing the course.Reviewer Rating

Played early, great value for 18 holes. Good challenge for my level. Greens in good condition and nice variety of hole types, with doglegs both ways.
