Enjoyable but tight tree lined course

Really enjoyed playing here on Saturday afternoon. Fairly short but quite tight on a number of holes, with pine trees lining almost every hole making it visually attractive. Greens in good shape and fairways in good condition for the time of year and price, much greener & grassier than anywhere I've played for weeks. Par 3s a highlight, and some good par 4s through the trees. Only saw 3 other groups of golfers, so pretty much had the place to myself. A fair few dog walkers and runners but not a problem. I don't live locally (visiting the in-laws) but already looking forward to returning.

Great municipal

A really lovely, challenging course. I lost a few balls in the thick trees but it was worth it! A really great course, interesting holes to play, a lot of thinking required. Well maintained. Great value for money as well. Quite hilly, so be prepared for a long walk! The clubhouse also has good food and good beer.

Good established course

Had a great day on this established course. Challenging hilly course with some narrow tees but no water.

Fun in the sun

Good conditions given the extremes in recent weather. Some bother with walkers on fairways, but not too bad. As with most courses the buggies tender to be booked up for the early rounds.

Tree lined course, with some holes that I am guessing would look stunning on a sunny day. I really enjoyed my round, the greens were in fabulous condition considering all of the recent rain. My only negative would be the amount of dog walkers who cross the course, but the ones we came across all seemed to be aware of the golfers.

A nice old course with a testing opening par 3
