What the club says: A beautiful and mature heathland course with lakes, standings of mature pines and a wide variety of wildlife together with panoramic views over Poole Harbour to Brownsea Island and the coastal downs of the Isle of Purbeck. Set within a few minutes drive of Poole and Bournemouth town centres and beaches, Parkstone offers the best in both golf and hospitality.

Stunning
The course is not the longest course but leave the fairways and your scorecard will take a hit. It is in immaculate condition. The tee boxes are perfect and the greens (despite heavy rain nearly closing the course) were quick and true.Pro shop staff were friendly and the course marshall, Nick, was an absolute star.
I couldn't rate this course more highly and the members were friendly and welcoming.

Scenic peace haven
Mid-length with undulating fairways to give done thought about off the tees. Good bunker placement and quality of sand. Reasonably well presented clubhouse with good food, lovely views of the course and a decent shop.Reviewer Rating

Best in Dorset
One thing that Parkstone always provides and that is without doubt the best playing surfaces in Dorset. An undulating challenge and you really want to avoid straying too far from the fairway. The heather is quite punishing! The greens are perfect although be prepared for the high stimp. The course drains very well and the improvements are clear to see. There?s a very good reason ?Parky? is number 78 on the Golf Monthly Top 100 courses for UK and Ireland. Well worth visiting all.Reviewer Rating

Stunning Dorset course
I've seen a lot of change at Parkstone over the years and what a difference it has made. They have worked hard there and now find themselves on the top 100 UK & Ireland courses list. You'll see why when you play there. The tee boxes are immaculate, fairways are perfect and the greens are quick. I always enjoy playing at ?Parky? and it's a fantastic place to play.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course but too expensive at £100 for a weekend round (not that I had to pay that as got a deal with a friend).
It's not too tough and there are only a couple of holes that an average handicapper might say would be hard-earned pars, namely 10th and 15th.
Some good short holes and the 17th is the best of the par 5s.
Throw in some great scenery and views of Poole harbour and the Purbecks and it's all very pleasant if you have plenty of cash!
