Having played all the courses in the south of England . In my opinion parkstone comes out on top. It was in fantastic condition with some of the best putting surfaces I have ever played on. Reminds me a lot of the top golf courses in surrey. From start to finish I found the whole experience one to remember and cannot wait to return next year. Thank you Parkstone

What a place! Parkstone is like an Oasis set in the very urbanised Poole and Bournemouth.
The course is a gem and although it isn't long enough to hold pro events, it has enough character and variation to give the mortal golfer enough to think about.

The clubhouse is great, very light and large after its extension it has wall to ceiling glass at the rear overlooking the 1st hole with a lovely patio and seating.

There is a small range for warming up and putting green which gives you the first taste of the quality greens.

The course is in an area of scientific importance and is scattered with tall pines and heather.
The first hole is picture perfect and the others are not bad either! Each hole giving you something different to think about, its only when you get in the wrong places that you fully appreciate the design from James Braid.

There is a tranquil feel about Parkstone, and I would recommend a visit to anyone.

This is one of the most visually appealing courses you will ever play, it has fantastic views from the clubhouse, which continues around the course. The course is in excellent condition (especially considering the terrible weather over the last few month); the greens run very true. It is obvious that a lot of care has been taken by all concerned. My only criticism is that the greens were very firm and you couldn't hold the ball on them.

I was lucky enough to be invited to play in the parkstone pro-am. This was my first time at the club and had heard great things and I was not to be disappointed. The course was in all round immaculate condition with greens running true and fast. All holes are challenging for all standards of golfer. What a great experience and i will most definitely return. A definite must play !

Stunning

The course is not the longest course but leave the fairways and your scorecard will take a hit. It is in immaculate condition. The tee boxes are perfect and the greens (despite heavy rain nearly closing the course) were quick and true.
Pro shop staff were friendly and the course marshall, Nick, was an absolute star.
I couldn't rate this course more highly and the members were friendly and welcoming.

Best in Dorset

One thing that Parkstone always provides and that is without doubt the best playing surfaces in Dorset. An undulating challenge and you really want to avoid straying too far from the fairway. The heather is quite punishing! The greens are perfect although be prepared for the high stimp. The course drains very well and the improvements are clear to see. There?s a very good reason ?Parky? is number 78 on the Golf Monthly Top 100 courses for UK and Ireland. Well worth visiting all.

Parkstone is a hidden gem for any standard of golfer , the course was superbly conditioned with beautiful surfaces from tee to green . After our game the food and beverage was equally as good and the staff couldn't be more helpful. All in all a great day out and will definitely return.

One of the best designed James Braid courses in the South of England. The new General and Course Managers have already made a huge difference to the quality of the course. The greens are now some of the fastest we have played in the area. Clearance work now give stunning views over heather lined fairways and over Poole Harbour. Not to be missed.

This is a short but very technical course. Fairways undulate laterally ensuring most shots are above or below your feet. The greens are well protected and are typical of mature well maintained greens. The views are stunning off some elevated tees. It is a lovely course to play.

Scenic peace haven

Mid-length with undulating fairways to give done thought about off the tees. Good bunker placement and quality of sand. Reasonably well presented clubhouse with good food, lovely views of the course and a decent shop.
