The course is a gem and although it isn't long enough to hold pro events, it has enough character and variation to give the mortal golfer enough to think about.
The clubhouse is great, very light and large after its extension it has wall to ceiling glass at the rear overlooking the 1st hole with a lovely patio and seating.
There is a small range for warming up and putting green which gives you the first taste of the quality greens.
The course is in an area of scientific importance and is scattered with tall pines and heather.
The first hole is picture perfect and the others are not bad either! Each hole giving you something different to think about, its only when you get in the wrong places that you fully appreciate the design from James Braid.
There is a tranquil feel about Parkstone, and I would recommend a visit to anyone.

Stunning
The course is not the longest course but leave the fairways and your scorecard will take a hit. It is in immaculate condition. The tee boxes are perfect and the greens (despite heavy rain nearly closing the course) were quick and true.Pro shop staff were friendly and the course marshall, Nick, was an absolute star.
I couldn't rate this course more highly and the members were friendly and welcoming.

Best in Dorset
One thing that Parkstone always provides and that is without doubt the best playing surfaces in Dorset. An undulating challenge and you really want to avoid straying too far from the fairway. The heather is quite punishing! The greens are perfect although be prepared for the high stimp. The course drains very well and the improvements are clear to see. There?s a very good reason ?Parky? is number 78 on the Golf Monthly Top 100 courses for UK and Ireland. Well worth visiting all.Reviewer Rating

Scenic peace haven
Mid-length with undulating fairways to give done thought about off the tees. Good bunker placement and quality of sand. Reasonably well presented clubhouse with good food, lovely views of the course and a decent shop.Reviewer Rating
