Fantastic place

Not good
This course has over the past few years deteriorated with little or no investment in the course. The trees, bushes and shrubbery have been left to grow unattended reducing the narrow fairways further still. There are bare patches everywhere and the general fairway conditions are not good. It is now a scruffy course that will need considerable investment to address. It appeared to me the Health Club is where the investment has been not the Golf Club. I should mention the greens for some perverse reason are in very good condition.Reviewer Rating

Worth visiting
Good green and quite a challenge despite being on the short side. Need to look out for wogs and walkers!!(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 102 Handicap: 28)

Good course slightly spoiled by staff attitude to wanting to split card payment over different players. Great first hole!

Staff not helpful and a bit pricey as its on common land , buggys are a tad pricey , course is very good and the greens are in good condition

After 3pm £8..Still had time for a full 18 holes. Greens have got much better. Best Value!!!!

Dog walkers everywhere, avoid this course if you want a nice relaxing day. If you like crufts then this is the course for you. Lost 2 balls to dogs taking them. Shame used to be a great course, nice tee off areas and great greens.

For a Council run course the facilities are excellent, with the greens being to best I have played in Dorset.

Nice greens. Challenging tree lined course. A few dog walkers and joggers. Four balls tend to be slow and they don't seem to like calling two balls and faster players through
