The outward 9 holes are somewhat uninteresting, being on the flat and with open fairways. However, the back 9 are quite a variety of parkland holes with some water to add challenge. I prefer the Rosebery course on the whole.

A lovely course and venue, greens still need a bit of work to get them in tip top condition.

The course was not in the best condition. The greens were very furry and some of the bunkers were just clay with minimal sand. The club house and people are fantastic. A nice layout and course but not value for money.

Played the Rothschild course today which was a big improvement on the Rosebery course.
Greens were in good condition and soft enough to hold a ball, not that quick though which was surprising.
lots of water, rough and bunkers to catch your ball/balls if not online.
Tees were again very poor.

Played the Rosebery course today.
I know we haven't had a lot a rain recently but a club like Mentmore ought to have this course in better condition.
Quite frankly it was very poor, the tees were very scabby as were the fairways, greens were slow and woolly.
It's a pretty course with a nice lay out, it just needs to be in much better condition for what they charge.
On a hot day the half way house was closed and no drinks vendor in a buggy to be seen!

The overall layout of both courses is excellent but for the cost we felt that the condition of the course was poor, we played the roseberry course and the greens were slow and with dry patches over most of the greens. For a Friday the greens not cut and the fairways same length as the semi rough. On one par three hole the greenstaff had left a roller which we had to play over which was annoying. The outside of the clubhouse looked very untidy and was not good fist impression. Speaking to members in the bar they have had issues with greenstaff which looked like it had a massive effect on the whole condition of the course. Would go back if course improved but wont pay the greenfee for the condition of the course.

Beautiful course, flatter of the 2 at Mentmore.
Greens and fairways in great condition, rough is very heavy. Greens smooth and fairly quick.
