Small course but well kept. Layout is good but to play 18 you have to play the 9 twice.
Nice greens, club staff very kind.

Value for money

Nice 9 hole golf course with tight fairways and challenging greens. No par 5?s but a mixture of long par 3?s and 4?s as well a couple of shorter par 3?s. Very well maintained although some of the lower tree branches could do with a trim and the sand in some bunker needs refreshing. ?12 for twilight golf after18:00 is great value for evening golf. Club house isn't open late but there is a pub down the road if fancy a pint afterwards. Pro shop is well stocked with clubs, balls, clothing and tees. There is a putting green but no range/nets for irons/driver warm up.

Short and Tight

It's a very short course doing well with the available land. If you're looking for an easy round to play with some high handicappers who don't hit it far, then this would be ideal. Other than that, I imagine most mid and below handicappers should give this a swerve if trying to pay and play. Lovely staff.

Friendly staff. Course is dangerously tight with greens too close to tees and even one hole where it is necessary to drive across a green. As a result play is held up. When we played conditions of greens was awful. Greens are poorly designed.Should have been a pitch and put course

I Play here every other weekend. In my view this course is brillant as noted before it's not that long but it is quite narrow which helps with practicing hitting the ball straight. The Locals and bar staff are really friendly.and the food is amazing. And all that for £8

I started playing here last year and after years playing n the area with 'golf snobs' I found this a refreshing change. Not long but not without it's own challenges. Each time I play it is a new experience. The staff and people that play here are among the friendliest I have come accross - what a delight. Well kept course - well kept secret.

My local and for £6 for nine holes you can't go wrong. The first 3 holes will punish and slice evident and the rest of the course has plenty to challenge and interest. Great for a quick hour and a bit going round and even at this time of the year the greens are in good nick. Shame about all the leaves though.

In the Autumn you can't see your ball for the leaves, blind shots and balls going everywhere make for an interesting round! There are a couple of decent holes though and at £6 for 9 you can't really complain

If rating this course solely on value for money I would have to say it's brilliant. However I found it frustrating that the course was so crampt, at one point your teeing off over another holes green which I thought was dangerous and just uneccesary. Other than that it's a great course and definately worth a round or two.
